Hi! I’m Ms. Eidse
Early Years Guidance Counsellor
My name is Robyn Eidse and I joined the Kent Road School team as the School Guidance Counsellor this year.

I work with individual students, small groups, and whole classroom settings to support the needs of our students. I will also serve as a source of information and a resource for parents.

My hope is to provide information, resources, activities and more to students and families when they are not at school.

My passions include yoga, mindfulness, gardening and learning.

I started my education career teacher grade 7 and 8 in a Learning Assisted Centre where I worked with students who were having a difficult time adjusting to a standard classroom setting. The program was designed for children who required a closely supervised, highly structured setting. The overall goal of the program was to assist the child to develop appropriate constructive social/interpersonal behaviour, self confidence and academic competency in order to return to the home school and an educational program as close as possible to the mainstream.
It was during these 3 years that I knew I wanted to move toward supporting youth mental health and began my journey to become a guidance counsellor.

At home I have a large wonderful family. My husband Chris is the biggest kid of the bunch. Followed closely by our 20 year old son Tyler, our 14 year old daughter Acadia, our 13 year old son Nickolas and completed with our 4 year old son Reese. Our family is not complete without our 2 pups. Spencer the Golden Retriever and Stevie the.... wait for it.... Dachshund, Chihuahua, Pug, Pekingese mix.
